Tarax Service Systems, Inc. founded in 1989. A full-service janitorial commercial company, minority/Woman owned, DBE certified business. Servicing Western Pennsylvania for over 50 years.

We are proud to offer additional Janitorial services which include:
- Post Construction and final cleaning including multiple mobilizations as needed.
- Interior/exterior window cleaning
- Floors: buffing, floor stripping/waxing, carpet cleaning/extraction using advanced cleaning systems and cleaning methods for a wide range of industry cleaning.
- All products used are EPA-tested, non- toxic disinfectants. Additionally, Tarax Services uses HEPA-filter vacuums, and disinfectants that cover a broad surface area.
Our Team
George P. Mandros, Founder of Tarax Service Systems, Inc.
It is his knowledge, wisdom and entrepreneurial commitment since 1989 that created the platform Tarax is today. George still remains active as a consultant within the company as well as offering his perspective on company procedures and the welfare of customers and employees associated with Tarax. George is a graduate of the University of Pittsburgh.
Rodney Allen James, General Manager
Rodney started his career at Tarax in 1990 as an evening cleaning supervisor and moved up into his role as General Manager in 2010. Rodney’s passion and commitment for the company has expanded into leadership roles over the years that included overseeing the cleaning of commercial office buildings, employee supervision, project management and manages all post construction/final cleanings. Rodney is trained in all state-of-the-art cleaning equipment such as carpet machines, power washing machines, buffing machines, and floor scrubbers. Rodney also has had many years’ experience stripping/waxing floors as well as operating man lifts. Rodney attended Penn State University and Rosendale Technology School
Joanne Mandros Kozy, President/Owner
Joanne took over ownership of Tarax Service Systems, Inc. in 2014 as a DBE certified woman owned business. Joanne’s past experiences included many leadership roles in sales representing domestic and Canadian business firms. She began her journey with Tarax as an office manager and proceeded into developing a customer base through out Western Pennsylvania. Joanne is a graduate of Seton Hill College University.
William (Bill) R. Kozy, Vice President of Operations
Bill Joined the company in 2016 as an operational consultant after 35 years in logistics and moved into his current position with Tarax in 2017. Bill worked at various levels of operations and facility management during his career with most recent positions as General Manger of a distribution center for Aarons Inc. and Regional Director of Operations for NonStop Delivery. Bill is a graduate of Ohio University with a degree in Industrial and Systems Engineering.
